Environment is cornerstone of sustainable economic development -- official

H.E Rashid Ahmed Bin Fahad Minister of Environment and water announced the launch of the second Environmental Excellence Awards and Amateur Photography Contest in conjunction with Offshore Arabia Conference and Exhibition 2009 scheduled from 11 to 13 January 2009 at the Dubai Convention and Exhibition Center.
Speaking to the press H.E. Said these significantly important Awards are geared towards enhancing, supporting, and encouraging the total environmental efforts to expedite economic development and growth for the benefit of Energy , Environment and sustainability.

The Ministry of Environment and Water in UAE is supporting Offshore Arabia 2006- the Minister of Environment and Water- H.E Dr. Dr Mohammad Saeed Al Kindi confirmed that in the press conference that took place in Dubai International Exhibition center on 26th of April to announce the Lunch of Offshore Arabia 2006 and to give details to the press about the event .Speakers in the press conference were Mr.Khamis Juma Bu Amim-Chairman of RECSO & Chairman of the Offshore Arabia 2006, Mr.Abdul Salam Al Madani-Member of the SUPREME COUNCIL of Offshore Arabia 2009 & Mohammed Al Qusair- VP,D&TO Saudi Aramco.
